Smoothies are an absolute game-changer when it comes to incorporating healthy foods into your routine. Over the years, I have explored various smoothie flavors, from fruity concoctions to detox blends and even boozy creations (yes, they exist!). Trust me when I say, once you dive into the world of smoothies, there’s no turning back.

When my sister and I decided to embark on the famed Harley Pasternak’s 15-day Body Reset Diet, she was skeptical about the smoothie aspect. She questioned whether a smoothie alone could truly leave her feeling satisfied. Pasternak’s diet plan revolves around three main types of smoothies: the “White,” “Red,” and “Green” smoothies. The initial five days of the Reset Diet include one of each. However, it was the White Smoothie that won our hearts. To this day, we both continue to incorporate it into our daily routines as a satisfying “meal replacement” or a post-workout snack. I’ve tweaked the original recipe slightly, and I’m excited to share it with you. The fact that my sister, who is not easily impressed, still adores this sweet, nutritious, and filling smoothie is nothing short of a miracle.

The Recipe: A Tantalizing Blend

I have made a few adjustments to Pasternak’s original White Smoothie recipe to create the one below. Using a high-quality blender (I personally swear by Vitamix and Blendtek), combine all the ingredients and watch the magic happen! In fact, I can’t imagine my life without these blenders anymore. I even keep one at my boyfriend’s place because that’s how essential smoothies have become in my life.


  • 1 apple
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup 0% plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop collagen powder

The Smoothie Ingredients

Once you’ve gathered all the ingredients, start by adding the wet components and then layer the dry fruits on top. Sprinkle the mixture with a dash of cinnamon and collagen powder. Give it a good blend, and voila! You’ll have perfection in a glass.
